Want to gain board experience and make a real impact? As a board member at VBU, you'll be at the negotiating table, not on the sidelines. You'll be the official contact for major organizations like DUWO, the municipality of Amstelveen, and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. You can also organize events ranging from small get-togethers to Thuisfront!

In a bird's-eye view
8 hours per week
You are expected to spend 8 hours per week on your board duties. These duties vary per board member, but always include the weekly evening board meeting.
€300 p/m
You will receive a director's fee of €300 per month.
At least 1 year
You are expected to remain a board member for at least one year. It's important that you can make this commitment.
